
All current Citizen C, L and M Series machines have the optional capability to be controlled across a local area network (LAN) or the Internet. This opens up a new world of remote diagnostic troubleshooting of your machine from our technical support office.

After connecting in with your machine we can control it as easily as if we were there. This includes uploading or downloading programs, giving you programming assistance and checking any error messages. If you have a voice line (fixed or mobile) then we can speak to you at the same time, talking you through solutions to your problem. The only thing that we can't control remotely is the actual startup of the machine (this is a restraint required for safety reasons).
This service is proving very popular with our customers. For example an overseas customer was being assisted with a programming problem. Within an hour, one of our applications engineers had downloaded their program, corrected it and uploaded it again - getting them back up and running without the need for an on-site visit.
