Citizen Machinery UK Ltd, based in Watford, is a CNC machine tool specialist supplying the latest CNC turning technology to UK industry. We have been successfully serving UK manufacturing industry for over 34 years, until 2008 under the name NC Engineering Ltd but as of 1 April 2008 we changed our name to Citizen Machinery UK Ltd to reflect our focus on Citizen Sliding Head Lathes. This change follows the acquisition in March 2006 of the company by Citizen Machinery Japan Ltd (CMJ) of whom we are now a wholly-owned subsiduary.

As part of the Citizen group, famous also for it's precision watches and electronics our product range focusses specifically on Citizen's range of high performance CNC Sliding Head Lathes.

We can also now offer you quality pre-owned machinery. All machines in our preowned range were originally installed by ourselves - a firm assurance that they have been well-maintained and have a full service history.

During the summer of 2000 we moved into our new purpose-built headquarters with extensive showroom and training facilities. We have also recently acquired additional space in order to display our pre-owned CNC machines.
